Abstract

My thesis was focused on improving the efficiency of infrastructure planning processes, proposing a way to measure efficiency-related process improvements, applying a method for analysing infrastructure planning processes and recommending process improvements, and developing a tool, based on scanning a region, for an efficient early-stage infrastructure planning under uncertainty. His work contributes to metrics and methods available to infrastructure planning organisations and policymakers interested in making directed efforts to improve the efficiency of their planning processes.
